Foam sealing silicone strip is a kind of porous elastic material manufactured by special processes. Aobo Silicone is a reliable manufacturer and supplier, with strong production ability, we are capable of producing products with a density ranging from 0.25 to 0.85 g/cm³, a cell diameter of 50~200 μm, and a hardness controllable within the range of 8–70 Shore A. Its interior is uniformly distributed with numerous tiny closed-cell structures, which endow the product with excellent compression rebound performance and cushioning properties.


We are using high-purity silicone rubber as the base material, this material forms a honeycomb-like three-dimensional network structure through chemical foaming or physical foaming processes. The pore size can be controlled within the range of 50–500 μm, our porosity can reach up to 90% or more. In industrial production, the foam sealing silicone strip exhibits outstanding temperature resistance, maintaining stable physical properties even in extreme environments ranging from -60℃ to 250℃, with a thermal conductivity as low as 0.04–0.06 W/(m·K).

Thermal Conductivity

However, excessive foaming will lead to decreased structural strength. Therefore, high-end products will control the foaming ratio within the range of 15%–25%.

This product boasts remarkable physical property advantages: compression set rate ≤ 5%, rebound rate ≥ 85%, and tensile strength ranging from 1.5–3.0 MPa. Its unique molecular structure endows it with both the flexibility of rubber and the lightness of foam materials. With a surface friction coefficient maintained at 0.3–0.5, it ensures excellent sealing performance while facilitating easy installation. In terms of chemical properties, the foam sealing silicone strip exhibits outstanding aging resistance, retaining over 90% of its performance after 500 hours of UV aging test. It also demonstrates good resistance to most acids, alkalis, salt solutions and organic solvents.
